What is hydrating and why is it important?

To keep our skin smooth and supple, the upper layers of the epidermis need a supply of water. This is called hydrating.

When skin is hydrated, it more desirable and resistant also. This unique quality of the skin is partially due to the presence of hyaluronic acid in our skin. The job of this ingredient in our skin is to hold water.

When there is sufficient water inside and outside of skin, the skin tends to look more refreshing, healthier and less prone to aging.
